According to Liberal sources close to Stephane Dion, the Liberal leader plans to visit Walkerton, ON the site of the E.Coli outbreak that killed a number of people during the time Mike Harris was the PC Premier of Ontario.

Dion will try to link the recent Listeriosis deaths to Stephen Harper’s government arguing that the government somehow mishandled the safety of Canadians.

Despite this, I don’t think Maple Leaf Foods will be calling Dion to testify on their behalf as they face a class-action lawsuit from Canadians affected by the food-borne microbial outbreak.
