Stephen Harper has released two press releases wishing both Canada’s Jewish and Muslim communities a happy Rosh Hashanah and Ramadan, respectively.
Both Rosh Hashanah and Ramadan began yesterday.
Yet, both Liberal Prime Minister Paul Martin and NDP leader Jack Layton have not made statements giving these two peoples good wishes on these occasions.
Are the Liberals and NDP ignorant of people of faith? Is Stephen Harper the only leader that is cognizant of cultural diversity in this country?
