Ray Aldinger (NDP) has worked for nearly 30 years in adult and youth corrections and has received the Premier's Award of Excellence in public service and two ministerial awards. He previously ran for the NDP in Regina—Qu'Appelle in 2019.
Michael Wright (Green Party) is a returning candidate who previously ran for the Green Party in Regina—Lewvan in 2019.

About the Riding
Regina—Lewvan's economy is closely tied to the broader Regina economy, which revolves around government, agriculture, energy, and the services sector. The RCMP's national training academy, Depot Division, is located in the riding and has trained officers since 1885, giving the area a strong connection to policing and public safety.
The riding has experienced significant suburban growth, particularly in the Harbour Landing area in the southwest, where residential and commercial development has transformed former farmland into one of Regina's most active new neighbourhoods. This growth has brought pressure on transportation infrastructure and municipal services.
Affordability, immigration policy, and economic diversification were prominent issues in the 2025 campaign. The riding's large newcomer population gave immigration and settlement services particular local relevance, while the threat of U.S. tariffs on Canadian agricultural exports concerned voters in a province deeply connected to the grain trade.
