Located on the South Shore of Montreal in the Montérégie region, Brossard—Saint-Lambert brings together two municipalities with distinct identities on either side of the Autoroute 10 corridor. Brossard, a fast-growing suburb of more than 80,000 residents, is among the most ethnically diverse communities in Quebec, home to substantial Chinese, South Asian, Arab, and Latin American populations. Saint-Lambert, a quieter municipality of roughly 22,000, is known for its heritage downtown, proximity to the Champlain Bridge crossing, and one of the South Shore's larger English-speaking communities.

About the Riding
Brossard—Saint-Lambert sits at a crossroads of major transportation infrastructure. Autoroutes 10, 15, and 30 converge in the constituency, channelling commuter traffic toward Montreal via the new Samuel De Champlain Bridge, which opened in June 2019 to replace the aging original span. The Quartier DIX30, one of Quebec's largest open-air shopping and commercial centres, anchors the local retail economy in Brossard. The Réseau de transport de Longueuil bus network connects the riding to the Yellow Metro line at the Longueuil station, providing rapid transit access to downtown Montreal. Saint-Lambert retains a village atmosphere with its compact commercial strip along Victoria Avenue, heritage residential streets, and the campus of Champlain College Saint-Lambert. The riding's multicultural character — with more than thirty ethnic groups each representing at least one percent of the population — sets it apart from most South Shore constituencies. Federal issues during the campaign included the impact of the new Champlain Bridge on local traffic, affordable housing for the riding's growing population, and immigration and settlement services.
