Edmonton Manning occupies the northeast corner of Edmonton, reaching from 97 Street eastward to the city limits and from the North Saskatchewan River northward. Created in the 2012 redistribution from parts of Edmonton—Sherwood Park, Edmonton East, and Edmonton—St. Albert, the riding takes its name from Ernest Manning, Alberta's longest-serving premier. The area includes rapidly growing suburban communities alongside older established neighbourhoods such as Castledowns, Lago Lindo, and the Clareview transit hub.

About the Riding
Edmonton Manning is one of the fastest-growing areas in the city, with new suburban developments expanding northward and eastward from established communities. The Clareview LRT station at the riding's western edge connects residents to downtown Edmonton, and the surrounding transit-oriented development has brought new commercial and residential density to the area. The riding has a notably diverse population, with significant South Asian, Filipino, and East African communities. Economically, the area is characterized by a mix of light industrial employment, retail, and commuter households whose livelihoods are tied to the energy sector and its supply chains. The 2015 downturn in oil prices was a dominant concern, with residents facing layoffs and economic uncertainty. Federal infrastructure spending, immigration policy, and support for families with children were also prominent local issues during the campaign.
