Are Martin and Layton insensitive to Canada’s religious peoples?
Stephen Harper has released two press releases wishing both Canada’s Jewish and Muslim communities a happy Rosh Hashanah and Ramadan, respectively.
Both Rosh Hashanah and Ramadan began yesterday.
Yet, both Liberal Prime Minister Paul Martin and NDP leader Jack Layton have not made statements giving these two peoples good wishes on these occasions.
