š Peter Milliken, the Liberal candidate, won the riding with 26,457 votes making up a 51.7% share of the vote.
š„ The runner-up Progressive Conservative candidate, Blair MacLean, received 9,222 votes (18%) and was therefore defeated by a vote margin of 17,235.
š Other candidates who received a sizable share of the vote include Kevin Goligher - Canadian Alliance (15.4%) Gary Wilson - N.D.P. (9.7%) and Chris Milburn - Green Party (5.2%).
