đ Mac Harb, the Liberal candidate, won the riding with 22,716 votes making up a 40% share of the vote.
đ„ The runner-up N.D.P. candidate, Heather-jane Robertson, received 13,516 votes (23.8%) and was therefore defeated by a vote margin of 9,200.
đ Other candidates who received a sizable share of the vote include David Brown - Canadian Alliance (17.9%) and Beverley Mitchell - Progressive Conservative (13.2%).
