đ John Manley, the Liberal candidate, won the riding with 26,585 votes making up a 51.3% share of the vote.
đ„ The runner-up Canadian Alliance candidate, Brad Darbyson, received 12,677 votes (24.5%) and was therefore defeated by a vote margin of 13,908.
đ Other candidates who received a sizable share of the vote include Kevin Lister - Progressive Conservative (15.6%) and Jeannie Page - N.D.P. (6.7%).
