Good! Really good! Does he however actually live in Winnipeg?

Ouch. Is this the first time Pat Martin has been sued? If so, that’s surprising.

  • http://twitter.com/joeiwanicki Joe

total damages $5,000,000 plus punitive….  Seems high but that’s their right. They certainly have a solid case considering statements made were with almost zero connection to criminal activity.  And no a phone call to Pierre Poutines phone isn’t a smoking gun.

I would be surprised if it was :P

Pat Martin is the nastiest man I can recall ever sitting in our HOC and that’s saying a lot.
Along with his nastiness he’s showing himself to be arrogantly smug by ignoring this litigation against him.

It’s amazing he keeps getting re-elected and more amazing people could actually vote for such a person under any political persuasion. By his rude demeanor and potty mouth, he’s not fit to sit in the HOC  and be called “honourable”, he’s anything but and the people of his riding should be ashamed of themselves for sending him to represent them. It’s not a place I’d want to visit.

It all hags on the thread of “due diligence”  If a judge finds that Racknine didn’t exercise “due diligence” in their business operations then they hooped.  Well lets hope that  Pat Martin show more responsibility than Patrick Ross in addressing this action.

This man is truly disgusting and a total boor to boot.

I rarely watch CTV’s Power Play or the CBC version but today I watched almost 20 minutes of each. Then I was outa there.

Pat Martin is an ugly, vulgar and very angry man.  The hosts must be anticipating bigger ratings with this uncouth loudmouth because he just keeps talking and talking with his running commentary…when others are trying to civilly take their turn to talk. He doesn’t agree obviously so he talks over Del Maestro, in case the viewer might not listen “properly”. Don Martin smiles and never once intervened. I have mostly weaned myself off of these two shows, and certainly I will not hurry back with that pathetic disrespectful display.

  • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_NHQAE2ZEBY7GEEPPX2I2URJS6M rastass

Many people in these parts say that he lives in Ms. May’s riding on Saltspring Island, BC.

That is how Manitobans must prefer it.

Racknine is publicly traded and they file all corporate events and actions and financings on sedar.com as do all public entities Eons ago the previous pre-merger public entity had some regulatory difficulties, but the present entity is a completely different company.

I would say that they have a duty to shareholders and the financial markets in general to fight tooth and nail against Pat Martin’s unsubstantiated tirade of accusations. They have a duty to protect their good (unless proven otherwise) name. The way it’s going, thousands of Canadians could lose the value of their investment in this stock, whether the company was at fault or not.

I just wish it wasn’t taxpayers money paying to defend the ugly Pat Martin in this $5 million lawsuit. What does Pat Martin the cipher have to lose.

I love this document you’ve put together. It compiles all of the unethical and illegal robo-fraud actions of the Conservatives, Racknine, and Matt Meier in particular, into a single document for easy reading and sharing.  Thanks, great work!

  • Bec

LOL……..it’s so great to find out that this document is “easy reading and sharing”.

Maybe that will make it easier for the MP named to understand.

Don’t get too excited, kids. Most species puff up, strut around and hiss when threatened. The NDP’s legal team would have had Martin bowing and scraping tout suite if there was a real threat from this suit. There’s no way the CPC will let this proceed to open court, either. Best outcome for Racknine will be a low-key apology from the NDP, and a quiet, out-of-court settlement with both sides muzzled and admitting nothing.

Interesting how some can castigate this  nasty, rude, angry, disgusting, boorish NDP man, while, just a page back, mourning the passing of a nasty, rude, angry, disgusting, boorish man of your own. And praising him for being nasty, rude, angry, disgusting and boorish.

  • Bec

Are you kidding kenn2? The first request for a simple apology……a SIMPLE APOLOGY has been ignored. The young man that runs this Company has been libeled by this NDP MP and he behaves like a bufoon 99.9% of the time under the umbrella of the ‘House’. This time he forgot! That’s time for a celebration!

As for your second paragraph, the MAN just passed away suddenly  leaving a young family, a lovely wife….

Why do you people always drop down to the sewer…….just sayin’.

  • Anonymous

It wasn’t “a simple apology” being demanded.  Check that out.

Also,  if you don’t know that Breitbart cheerfully defined himself as such, then you know nothing about the man or his work. I highly recommend that you do find out more, because he really was an interesting guy and a sincere  partisan. To say nothing of his writing skills, his new media savvy, or a wicked sense of humour.

I posted a link on Breitbart one page back, if you can stand to read the man being profane. Wouldn’t want to upset you…

I dont care who stole this election, this national widespread campaign of cheating should result in the death penalty for those found guilty, no matter what party and no matter how high up.

Our grandparents didnt die fighting nazis so scum could meddle in our elections.

Even more amazing is that Anders keeps getting elected after falling asleep on the job, more than once after he was installed as a candidate against local wishes.
Still a civil suit is one thing, the perp walk after this robocall fiasco is complete will be a tickets only affair.

You are deluded. R9 have been named in a matter involving criminal conspiracy. Innocent though they may be, them’s the facts. No apologies from the socialists will be forthcoming until the facts are fully known and the issues are properly litigated. So, hold yer breath. Keep Holding…hold…hold…

It hags. They hooped. Pat Martin show more responsibility. Is that what you’re saying? In English? Should Stephen Taylor’s readers receive literacy training? Should the state pay for it?

Lets hoop Patrick Ross survives, yeah?

  • Liz J

Next we should be hearing Anders talked in his sleep. If he was installed as a candidate against local wishes, how come they elected him?

  • Thymara

given that the defendants have 2 months to respond at most but only 1 month if served in Canada I’m guessing that Martin and the NDP will be responding sooner rather than later.

I wonder who is going to be found to be responsible for this crap. Even the Americans were complaining about it at CPAC last week. I was called by someone, I think it was Elections Canada telling me to go to some out of the way place to vote that I just blew off as I knew where to go, scrutineer that I was. Never gave it much thought, but I got one and I’m a Reformer since year one. It may not even be coming from a Canadian Party at all….and the plot sickens!!

  • Liz J

No bother, Patsy says they’re just trying to silence him, shut him up, whatever. How dare they eh?

Because his behavior is tolerated in our HOC does  he figure he can branch out and toss insults and innuendo anywhere he pleases? His rudeness and vitriolic screed is now topped off by his arrogance.

How hard is it to wait until all this stuff is checked out by the authorities engaged to do so before going silly and making our Parliament look like amateur hour?

Too bad the NDP have no adult supervision, they appear to need it badly.

It would seem that being filtered now (all but shorties like this). Since I lack the tact and wit of such luminaries as Liz, I guess this was to be expected.

Let Martin keep on with his schtick,if fact encourage him.The man is a narcissist who enjoys his own voice and wit, who is probably flattered that there are lawyers following and recording his every word.Throw more rope into his little world,he will grab it and it will be fun to watch the outcome.

  • marco

The NDP could win that riding with a potted plant.

It’s a given that reichtards on both sides of the 49th haven’t checked in re: what progressives actually think since 1988 & truly believe what their limbic-brain-trusts tell them what progs think, but every once in awhile the cold wet fish of reality slaps you douchebags in the face.  And you cretins never see it coming.  And the rest of us point and laugh.

    From BigCityLib Strikes Back:

“Clearly – the best way to squelch the whole Robocon scandal is to sue the loudest MP in the HOC and flip Stephen Taylor the legal docs on the down-low so as to blow your whole case out of the water if it ever DOES go to court.  I mean, most judges really hate it when your real intent is to fight out your suit in the court of public opinion, and more particularly in the blogosphere.  They’re serious folk who don’t like having their time wasted.

But of course the whole point is to get Pat Martin to shut up and instead what will happen reminds me of that old Jesus joke where Jesus walks into the inn carrying some nails and a hammer and asks the innkeeper to put him up for the night.  Pat Martin will spend the next two years cranking this for all its worth and if I were the NDP I would fund his legal case to the last stand, just to get to discovery.

Somewhere in Harper’s inner circle somebody is trying to figure out a way to disappear Matt Meier and RackNine.  Or, if they think this latest tactic will put this whole thing to bed, then they really are crazy.”
