He attended McGill University and built a career in business development, serving as a partner and vice-president at the Benjamin Group in Toronto. Levitt was active in civic organizations, having served on the boards of Mount Sinai Hospital and the Koffler Centre of the Arts.
Rachel Willson (Conservative) -- The Conservative Party candidate for the riding.
Andrea Vasquez Jimenez (NDP) -- A community educator and organizer who had previously run for the NDP in the 2018 Ontario provincial election in the York Centre riding, finishing second in that contest.

About the Riding
York Centre's identity reflects successive waves of immigration that have reshaped its neighbourhoods over decades. The riding has a significant Jewish community, with synagogues, community centres, and businesses concentrated along the Bathurst Street corridor in the Bathurst Manor and Wilson Heights areas. The riding also has one of the higher concentrations of Filipino residents in the city, particularly in the Downsview neighbourhood, alongside substantial Italian, Russian, and Latin American communities.
Downsview Park, encompassing over two hundred hectares, has been undergoing gradual redevelopment from its former military use into an urban park and mixed-use community. The Bombardier aerospace manufacturing facility on adjacent lands remained an important employer in the area. The riding is served by two stations on the Yonge-University subway line -- Downsview and Wilson -- connecting residents to employment centres across the city. Housing affordability, settlement services for newcomers, and transit improvements were recurring concerns in a constituency where many residents are first-generation Canadians.
