đ The Canadian federal electoral district of Simcoe North was contested during the 2000 Federal election which was held on November 26, 2000.
đ Paul DeVillers, the Liberal candidate, won the riding with 24,510 votes making up a 50.8% share of the vote.
đ„ The runner-up Canadian Alliance candidate, Peter Stock, received 14,283 votes (29.6%) and was therefore defeated by a vote margin of 10,227.
đ Other candidates who received a sizable share of the vote include Lucy Stewart - Progressive Conservative (14.3%).
