đ Raymond Lavigne, the Liberal candidate, won the riding with 20,905 votes making up a 51.3% share of the vote.
đ„ The runner-up Bloc QuĂ©bĂ©cois candidate, Pedro Utillano, received 11,976 votes (29.4%) and was therefore defeated by a vote margin of 8,929.
đ Other candidates who received a sizable share of the vote include Bernard CĂŽtĂ© - Progressive Conservative (6.5%) and Jacques Gendron - Canadian Alliance (5.1%).
