đ Martin Cauchon, the Liberal candidate, won the riding with 18,796 votes making up a 47.7% share of the vote.
đ„ The runner-up Bloc QuĂ©bĂ©cois candidate, Amir Khadir, received 11,151 votes (28.3%) and was therefore defeated by a vote margin of 7,645.
đ Other candidates who received a sizable share of the vote include Robert Archambault - Progressive Conservative (8.1%) and Peter Graefe - N.D.P. (5.6%).
