Edmonton Manning covers the northeast quadrant of the city, reaching from 97 Street eastward to the municipal boundary and from the North Saskatchewan River northward. Named after Ernest Manning, Alberta's longest-serving premier, the riding was created in the 2012 redistribution and first contested in 2015. It takes in rapidly expanding suburban communities alongside older established neighbourhoods, with the Clareview LRT station serving as a transit anchor at the riding's western edge.
Candidates
Ziad Aboultaif (Conservative) — The incumbent MP, first elected in 2015, Aboultaif immigrated to Canada from Lebanon in 1990 and built a career in business, starting as a labourer and eventually running his own company in Edmonton for more than a decade. He received an Alberta Centennial Medal for his volunteer work and became a public advocate for organ and tissue donation after making a partial-liver donation to his son in 2003. In Parliament, he served on the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Development.

Daniel Summers (People's Party) — Summers ran on the People's Party platform of fiscal discipline and reduced government intervention.

About the Riding
Edmonton Manning encompasses some of the city's fastest-growing suburban neighbourhoods, with new residential developments pushing steadily northward and eastward from established communities. The Clareview area, developed primarily in the 1970s and 1980s, anchors the riding's western side with a mix of single-family homes, townhouses, and apartment complexes clustered around the Clareview LRT station, the northern terminus of Edmonton's Capital Line.
The northeast industrial corridor along Manning Drive and the Yellowhead Trail provides warehouse, distribution, and manufacturing employment. Many residents work in trades, construction, and oilfield services, making the riding particularly sensitive to energy-price fluctuations and pipeline construction activity. The cultural diversity of northeast Edmonton has grown substantially since the early 2000s, driven by immigration from South Asia, the Philippines, the Middle East, and East Africa, with community organizations, mosques, gurdwaras, and cultural centres serving a changing population.
Transit access was a persistent concern in 2019 for residents in the riding's outer suburbs. While the Clareview LRT provided a rail connection to downtown, bus service to newer developments in the far northeast was limited. Healthcare access, affordable housing, and settlement supports for newcomers were also prominent issues during the campaign.
