đ Nicolas Dufour, the Bloc QuĂ©bĂ©cois candidate, won the riding with 31,007 votes making up a 53.1% share of the vote.
đ„ The runner-up NDP-New Democratic Party candidate, RĂ©jean Bellemare, received 8,853 votes (15.1%) and was therefore defeated by a vote margin of 22,154.
đ Other candidates who received a sizable share of the vote include Robert Semegen - Liberal (15%) and Bruno Royer - Conservative (14%).
