đ The Canadian federal electoral district of Winnipeg South Centre was contested during the 2000 Federal election which was held on November 26, 2000.
đ Anita Neville, the Liberal candidate, won the riding with 15,231 votes making up a 40.5% share of the vote.
đ„ The runner-up Progressive Conservative candidate, David Newman, received 10,675 votes (28.4%) and was therefore defeated by a vote margin of 4,556.
đ Other candidates who received a sizable share of the vote include James Allum - NDP (19.9%) and Betty Granger - Canadian Alliance (8.5%).
