đ Reg Alcock, the Liberal candidate, won the riding with 21,433 votes making up a 50.9% share of the vote.
đ„ The runner-up Canadian Alliance candidate, Bill Hancock, received 12,638 votes (30%) and was therefore defeated by a vote margin of 8,795.
đ Other candidates who received a sizable share of the vote include Duane Nicol - NDP (10%) and Geoffrey Lambert - Progressive Conservative (8.6%).
