đ Pierre Paquette, the Bloc QuĂ©bĂ©cois candidate, won the riding with 23,615 votes making up a 52.2% share of the vote.
đ„ The runner-up Liberal candidate, Robert Malo, received 14,820 votes (32.8%) and was therefore defeated by a vote margin of 8,795.
đ Other candidates who received a sizable share of the vote include Eric Champagne - Progressive Conservative (6%) and ClĂ©ment LĂ©vesque - Canadian Alliance (5.4%).
