đ„ The runner-up Liberal candidate, David Veillette, received 15,635 votes (26.9%) and was therefore defeated by a vote margin of 17,992.
đ Other candidates who received a sizable share of the vote include Michel Carignan - Progressive Conservative (5.4%) and Michel Paulette - Canadian Alliance (5.1%).
