Coalition agreement with Ignatieff’s signature disappears from Liberal.ca

In the past, whenever I needed to refer to the coalition agreement that members of the Liberal caucus signed, I could just go to Liberal.ca and find it. However, imagine my surprise when I tried to find it as an election looms in which Michael Ignatieff will be dogged daily by a question he seems to be unwilling to answer: that of a coalition with the other two parties if Stephen Harper should again win a plurality of seats in the House of Commons.

Here is a screenshot of http://www.liberal.ca/pdf/docs/081204_petition_Liberal.pdf as it appears today:

Thank heavens for archive.com, eh? Also downloadable in full PDF format here -> http://bit.ly/fqEuy3

Very good catch – well done!

So we don’t need an answer from Iggy as to whether he would be part of a coalition to take down the duly elected government should it be a minority Conservative one, the one he signed is still viable.

Aren’t these the same bozos who rage on about the Conservatives being undemocratic?

Usually that which has been most recently flushed down the memory hole is indicative of the owner’s greatest fears at the current time.

Great catch BTW!!! I think we will be referring to this item quite a bit over the next few weeks.

Check Jean Lapierre’s recent tweet. Looks like Iggy’s signature isn’t the only thing missing. Nothing about Iggy on the bus either.

Stephen: I checked the PDF link at least three times and I cannot find MI’s signature. Am I missing something?

    Cheers

So how does one explain altering a “legal” contract? Even in the simplest context, this is neither moral nor “ethical”. Perhaps some brave soul in the MSM might question this? I won’t hold my breath….

And, who in the class can tell us WHY the Liberals, NDP and the Bloc got together in late 2008 to challenge the minority government?

    Anybody?

Ignat signed it twice! He didn’t PRINT, perhaps he can’t?

There’s no doubt this Liberal circus includes a magician who can make things disappear, now you see it, oops, now you don’t.

Harper’s the sort of magician who hasn’t yet figured out that you actually have to pull the rabbit out and show it for the trick to work.
