📌 The Alberta provincial electoral district of Whitecourt-Ste. Anne was contested during the 2012 Provincial election which was held on April 23, 2012. 🏆 George Vanderburg, the Progressive Conservative candidate, won the riding with 6371 votes making up a 45.9% share of the vote. 🥈 The runner-up Wildrose candidate, Maryann Chichak, received 6003 votes (43.3%) and was therefore defeated by a vote margin of 368. 📊 Other candidates who received a sizable share of the vote include Blue Knox - NDP (5.5%), and Vern Hardman - Liberal (5.4%).
