đ Garfield Dunlop, the Progressive Conservative candidate, won the riding with 25,081 votes making up a 55.2% share of the vote.
đ„ The runner-up Liberal candidate, Fred Larsen, received 10,191 votes (22.4%) and was therefore defeated by a vote margin of 14,890.
đ Other candidates who received a sizable share of the vote include Doris Middleton - NDP (17%) and Peter Stubbins - Green Party (5.5%).
