๐ The Ontario provincial electoral district of Timmins-James Bay was contested during the 2003 Provincial election which was held on October 2, 2003.
๐ Gilles Bisson, the NDP candidate, won the riding with 14,941 votes making up a 49.7% share of the vote.
๐ฅ The runner-up Liberal candidate, Michael J. Doody, received 12,373 votes (41.2%) and was therefore defeated by a vote margin of 2,568.
๐ Other candidates who received a sizable share of the vote include Merv Russell - Progressive Conservative (8.4%).
