📌 The Alberta provincial electoral district of Battle River-Wainwright was contested during the 2012 Provincial election which was held on April 23, 2012.
🏆 Doug Griffiths, the Progressive Conservative candidate, won the riding with 7,202 votes making up a 46.7% share of the vote.
🥈 The runner-up Wildrose candidate, Dave Nelson, received 6,709 votes (43.5%) and was therefore defeated by a vote margin of 493.
