đ David McGuinty, the Liberal candidate, won the riding with 34,205 votes making up a 52.3% share of the vote.
đ„ The runner-up Conservative candidate, Eli Tannis, received 16,025 votes (24.5%) and was therefore defeated by a vote margin of 18,180.
đ Other candidates who received a sizable share of the vote include Morgan Gay - NDP-New Democratic Party (16%) and Les Schram - Green Party (5.6%).
