š„ The runner-up Conservative candidate, Salma Ataullahjan, received 14,664 votes (33%) and was therefore defeated by a vote margin of 6,556.
š Other candidates who received a sizable share of the vote include Karan Pandher - NDP-New Democratic Party (11.8%) and Grace Yogaretnam - Green Party (6.6%).
