đ Rod Bruinooge, the Conservative candidate, won the riding with 17,328 votes making up a 41.4% share of the vote.
đ„ The runner-up Liberal candidate, Reg Alcock, received 17,217 votes (41.2%) and was therefore defeated by a vote margin of 111.
đ Other candidates who received a sizable share of the vote include Robert Page - N.D.P. (13.7%).
