đ Inky Mark, the Conservative candidate, won the riding with 20,084 votes making up a 59.1% share of the vote.
đ„ The runner-up N.D.P. candidate, Walter Kolisnyk, received 6,221 votes (18.3%) and was therefore defeated by a vote margin of 13,863.
đ Other candidates who received a sizable share of the vote include Don Dewar - Liberal (18.2%).
