đ„ The runner-up Liberal candidate, Pierre Pettigrew, received 16,785 votes (38.5%) and was therefore defeated by a vote margin of 990.
đ Other candidates who received a sizable share of the vote include Mustaque A. Sarker - Conservative (8.3%) and Marc Hasbani - N.D.P. (7.7%).
