đ Tony Valeri, the Liberal candidate, won the riding with 24,150 votes making up a 51.1% share of the vote.
đ„ The runner-up Canadian Alliance candidate, Doug Conley, received 13,354 votes (28.2%) and was therefore defeated by a vote margin of 10,796.
đ Other candidates who received a sizable share of the vote include Grant Howell - Progressive Conservative (12.9%) and Mark Davies - N.D.P. (6.5%).
