Vacated prime real estate in Ottawa!

Paulina Ayala is the NDP Member of Parliament for Honoré-Mercier in Quebec. She was elected on May 2nd in the Orange Crush that saw the NDP take most of the seats in that province.

Here are some photos from the hallway outside of her Ottawa office today.



Has Ayala moved in yet? Calls to her Hill office at 1:30pm went unanswered and to voicemail. How can the NDP represent working families if they don’t have a working office?

    She might not be using that office, but I’ll bet that she’s claiming expenses for it!

    Perhaps another office was allotted to her and she forgot about this one. Then again, there’s an awful lot of ditziness goin’ on in the Dipper caucus.

    Why are you surprised? This is the Party, led by Jack Layton that attempted a coup with the “coalition” to usurp a legitimately elected government and stated to his own Party members “….What about the legitimacy of the democratic process, yeah, what about it? ”

    Their current members are from the province who stood to gain the most from the “coup” agreement.

    Why should their response to that question be otherwise? Some furniture in the hall has about zero bearing on what work the member is actually doing.

    Well, some furniture in the hall hardly proves that she isn’t, does it? Work isn’t limited to ‘offices’ these days…
