Premier Dad embarrasses the kids

Daaaaad…

It’s OnZone.ca! Premier McGuinty’s website for teens that touches on a few items in the Ontario Grade 10 curriculum.

Pictures of my Premier and cartoon hearts!

Save energy in the laundry room! (I think that this kid’s in on the joke)

Yes, that’s a link to Wikipedia’s front-page

A Speed reference? “Daaaaad, didn’t that like come out the year before I was born?”

Yeah, really…

I’d love to know how much this website cost.

Man, I’d like to write the article under “How a Bill Becomes Law”.

First way to conserve energy is not to live in such a big house — you know, that house they show with the caption Energenius: Save energy and money while at home?

I’m so tired of these steal-the-taxpayers’-money-high-rollers telling us hard-working taxpayers what to do/how to live our lives in order to save energy. They’re using far more of the earth’s resources than most of us ever will, but have created an industry to make us feel guilty about the comparatively little energy per-household we’re using.

Duh-lton McGuilty has no credibility when it comes to telling Ontario youth how to be green. Question for Duh-lton:

Do you use cold water to wash your laundry?

Do you hang your clothes on a clothesline to dry?

Somehow, I doubt it. You’ve really got a nerve, Mr. McGuinty. Why don’t you just stuff your OnZone.ca, which is dorky and unhelpful, and get real?

Do a freedom of information request. I did that on the ‘calgarymayor.ca’ that Bronco had made up for his upcoming Federal Liberal Party run. The new mayor rightfully yanked it but the $50,000′s worth of HTML can still be found here:

You can’t see much of the old site but I saw it and immediately asked the same question.

Hey this could be a good thing, maybe we won’t need those pesky teachers and their union in future??

Premier Dad embarrasses me, I’m ashamed to say I live in a province where the majority of people voted him to a second majority after he broke every promise he made to get the first majority.

Wonder if Dalty ever noticed a line full of clothes in the dead of winter, hanging there, rock hard? Would he want his wife to freeze her hands hanging out the family laundry in the dead of winter? Folks would require a very large basement to string clothes around to dry, that would mean a large house so that would suck up the energy big time.

Dalty, go do something useful, go fly a kite on a wind farm.
