We give out the Order of Canada for incoherant, paranoid ranting?

I’d say Don Cherry is as qualified for recognition as many who have been bestowed with the Order of Canada. He is a patriotic Canadian, salt of the earth, has a big heart and passionately supports our troops. Actually he’s better than the Order of Canada.

Well Scott, we’ve given it to David Suzuki – now the icon of incoherant, paranoia! So yes, I guess we do!

The order of Canada should be given to those who stand in front of the Taliban’s bullets and mortor fire, not some opportunist mouthpiece.

How long before they fire him? Never, he boosts their viewer ratings every time he’s on and the CBC is sadly lacking in that department.

I believe he already has the Order of Canada. I’m presuming he’s going to have it taken away if he doesn’t be “nicer” and more PC.

I love Don Cherry’s candor and the fact that he says what a large proportion of the Canadian public actually think but never get to express, given the pc filter everything gets put through in the leftwing, pinko, media.

Plenty. Amongst many charitable contributions, he was instrumental in developing Rose Cherry’s Home for Kids in Milton, Ontario, in memory of his wife Rose, who died in 1997. Now called The Darling Home for Kids, it provides paediatric hospice care and respite services to families within communities in Ontario who have children with life-limiting or life-threatening illnesses requiring complex care and/or technology-dependent care.

Ron Mclean looks like he was ready to shit himself.

Looking at reports in the news rags on Don’s appearance at Rob Ford’s swearing in it’s clear the Left wing Pinkos like to dish it out but cry like babies when they get some back.

Both Don and Rob have been called a lot of things by that same gang, disgusting stuff and a lot more personal, character assassinations are their stock and trade.

For those who think Cherry has no right to be in on the Toronto City swearing in because he lives in Mississauga had better check things out further, don may own property/business in the city, he then has every right as a taxpayer.

HNIC, Dragon’s Den, and a few other are the only shows that crack Top 30.

I am not sure how using taxpayers dollars to air American Game shows is cultural but the guy responsible for the improvement in ratings is gone.
