Which is different than using a “Poll” to demonstrate that Harper is right, or the Liberals are wrong, or whatever else you attempt to use “Polls” for.

Polls are a reflection of popular sentiment. They do not prove one side is right and the other wrong, unless the disagreement is about which side represents the majority opinion.

Although detainees do not meet the prisoner-of-war criteria as set out in the Geneva Conventions, Canada has chosen to treat them as such.
