The lack of posting liberals should not be shock. It is reflected in Libblogs. Twenty active bloggers posting 2-4x trying to appear to be a "force".

The spent force is in a serious decline.

Parnel was confident his WK strategy had teeth. He is now upset when REAL power is demostrated.

The white flag liberals, don't call the shots. Hedy Fry may want to jump the queue with other highly paid pros, but Canadians don't like it.
The Liberals are offside. An election in the spring will terminate the visiting leader and Bob will begin his reign as the next janitor of the Party in Toronto.

"Why did the CPC make an example of how WEAK the opposition is?"

Is that your question?

Note to self: Parnel is upset Liberals can't whip their own MP's on a simple private members Bill that is GOING to hurt their votes in urban ridings.

It's not called the Liberal party of Toronto for nothing, take that out of the equation and the stats change dramatically, we have something called reality. Notice the media always trot out the police chief of Toronto.

The pink book is a sham. Difficult to imagine the authors of such tripe have husbands, sons and fathers in their lives. Domestic violence is not acceptable by anyone, even men have been victims.
I'll never trust stats coming from people with an agenda.

I wonder how many unexplained "expenses" were dropped into the gun registry, that really belonged elsewhere, like remaining in the treasury.
Now we know where the pink book authors got their stats re violence and women. They must have checked the gun stats.
If the police check the registry before entering a home, are we to believe that there are over 4000 domestic violence calls per day.
Too bad terry didn't decide to use some different phrases and spelling when he showed up as ripples.
Perhaps in his next reincarnation he will do that.

Well all the Chiefs don't support it, many have spoken out against it. The CACP chiefs do but of course they are somewhat biased because they have been getting a lot cash from CGI the registry computer company. I don't know how serious a problem that is ethically but their ethics advisor quit because they refused to stop taking the payments from corporations and then supporting the products and services of those corporations.

Sadly, I suspect that the police want to retain this registry because it helps them look like they're actually doing something about gun crime. I have less and less confidence in the police, and I'm a law and order person so it grieves me to say this. Living in Toronto, I seldom see a police presence, except at construction sites, road repairs, and at the local Tim Horton's picking up their coffees.

This gun registry has not proven to be successful when it comes to gun crime in Canada. It seems to be used as a smoke screen behind which government can hide, all the while assuring the Canadian public that they're doing something about gun-related deaths. What our politicians need to do is to enforce the laws we have and to put behind bars, for lengthy sentences, those who use guns illegally and kill people.
