Agree Tom Clark hasn't been hiding his bias too well. Judging by the latest polling numbers, with the Conservatives holding firm, in spite of all the attempts by the Opposition and their pals in the MSM to tar them with pseudo scandals, just isn't working. In fact according to Ipsos-Reid Iggy would fare worse than Dion if an election were held now.

Jimmy Watson was once Mayor of Ottawa, once a Conservative too. He's definitely acting like he wants the Mayor of Ottawa job again, he hasn't admitted it but he's not fooling anyone. He's really having plenty to say about the affairs of the city.

For both him and Smitherman it's definitely leaving a sinking ship scenario. I'm thinking Watson may have run out his chances, too smooth by half. Smitherman chances in TO may be better. If it were anywhere but Toronto given his performance on the e-Health file and the fact Caplan took the fall for it he'd have less chance, especially if even John Tory were to run.

Smithermann wants to be Mayor in To. Watkins wants to be Mayor in Ottawa. Why do I have the feeling the rats leaving the sinking ship. Are they thinking it would be better to have a job in City Hall than loose their seat at Queens Park?

Since the media, keeps harping on the falsehood of uneven distribution, it does not matter what Smitherman says. Just watch Tom Clark. I had the feeling he wants to become a Liberal Senator .
The only consolation I have is that he has to wait a long time.

Smitherton is right

Downtown urban riding by there nature have fewer hockey rinks.

Hockey in rural Canada is huge. Every town has an arena.

Hockey rinks in urban areas in lower demand per capita.

15 years ago, Scarborough Hockey association had 10,000 kids
Now it has 2,800. They are about to die from lack of demand.

Let me see, Ignatieff has recently blamed Chretien for the torture of a Canadian citizen, Iggy and Kennedy have put Ontario's Deputy Premier in bed with Jim Prentice. I bet Iggy gets crossed off a few Christmas lists this year.

Something else of note, John Ibittson (sp) on Power Play said they came up with the same findings as the Liberals. Co-inka-dink no doubt, no collusion.

What is it about the stimulous money going out across the country to projects as applied for by the provinces the Liberals are so damned worried about? They were yelling to get it out, more, more and faster, faster! Could it be they can't bear to see the Conservatives handing it out and getting too much credit for it? That's about what this childish behaviour seems to be stemming from. It's very silly politics.
