Sarah – and Nathalie – as I noted above you might want to do some math. If you take out Elliott's 10K+ people, she still raised the same amount as Hudak, from the same number of people, meaning they both have equal fundraising support from the broad base. Elliott just has more high end support which is also important.

Actually if you take out Elliott's 10K+ AND Hudak's 10K+ then Elliott leads Hudak in number of donors and total donations.

Looks to me like Klees really is a man of the people! It is probably a lot easier to go to the big money folk and grab a big check for whatever “in” they want to have with the new leader later on. Selling memberships to people for $10 is much harder and shows that his focus is right on! Not the corporations that he is be beholden to after he wins but the “current” and “new” members that support his ideas and appreciate his experience! I was on the fence but after seeing this and hearing everyone brag about all thier big money corporate donors you guys are losing me and a lot of other “current” members. No one had to urge me to buy a membership! By the way Stephen, I am still curious why you do not have Frank Klees listed on your topics where all the other candidates names are?????? I am becoming more and more curious????

Tim Hudak’s campaign did not not submit their memberships. Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that they don’t have the 14,000 they claimed, or perhaps the rules don’t apply to Hudak’s campaign when the party has fixed the process for him.”

That sure sounds a bit dodgy to me! I would like to find out more about that one! Please keep us posted! What happens to those memberships?

Mark you should take a closer look at the numbers posted above. When you take out the big donations, Elliott still has a small edge on Hudak in total raised, and in the number of donors. It looks to me like she matches Hudak's grassroots donations and then adds the big donors on top. Nothing wrong with that!

Interesting – Hudak is starting to look a little desperate – first, spinning 14k members when he really only sold 7k and then spinning $200k in donations when he really raised $153k. Has nobody told him that politics is all about managing expectations?

All in all, I think it is good that we have a horse race. More media attention and a better chance that we will end up with the best leader. No coronations here, Tim!
