Iggy is not impatient to get into power as he knows the Harperites are well on their way to self destruction and a majority LIBERAL government beckons. The country will be cleaned up fiscally after that although you will obviously be changing your “depends” even more often.

There is such thing as “criminal negligence” which occurs when someone does something that shows wanton or reckless disregard for the lives or safety of other people. Whipping people into a frenzy you know or ought to know will result in them committing violence against an identifiable group could qualify. And of course, there are always the “inciting hatred” provisions.

On the other hand, in order to qualify this joke as a criminal offence, you would have to prove that the writer actually intended to counsel an offence – which in this case would be impossible to do. In this case, in order to establish criminal liability you must prove both the act and the intention to commit the act.

In any event, the only real place you would see a conviction in either scenario is on an episode of Law and Order.

My calling for the elimination of the capital gains tax could set you off in a murderous rage though I would not be responsible. If I said that X should shoot Y, yes, the criminal code covers that.

The Liberals rising in QC (and Ontario in you're NDP) just puts the Dippers and Bloc in safe mode. It isn't in their interest to trigger a General Election right now, at least until they see themselves benefiting. They don't want to lose what they gained at Dion's expense and who can blame them? You won't see anything from them (except from the by-elections in BC and QC) for a while.

And as far as the Quebec poll, are you really that surprised? Iggy's nose is stained brown from trying to make gains there. The NDP could just as well be in the same position, or the Conservatives. Talking the talk in order to please Quebec isn't that hard. I'd say the same if CPC numbers were up in QC. Bending over to appease them isn't my style, and Iggy is right at home in Quebec given his own antics and flip flopping.

She's beyond pathetic, beyond useless.

The Liberals ahead of the Bloc is good news for the large minority Conservative government. The Bloc will get to work fixing the Liberals' little red wagon. Only a fool would get excited over a Quebec poll at this time.

When is Iggy going to pull the plug and who will be lending the hands he needs to do so?
