Stephen, I think you know why another network did not get this interview. The Prime Minister’s Office tried to sabotage Obama’s chances in the election with a leak to CTV, do you really think they’d forget about that?

Perhaps this is displace anger directed at Stephen Harper who hasn’t done a thing to dismantle the CBC, which is what you seem to want. In fact Stephen Harper seems to have forgotten a lot of things his base wanted.

Yes, and leave it to the CBC to construct a nationalist argument for arms spending and blame conservatives for its withdrawal. It's very odd, IMO.
