Fiscal stimulus prolonged the depression in the 30's ?? Good lord…. it was the opposite problem that caused the depression in the first place. Stimulus resulted in resolving the depression.

Being an economist & reading these revisionist theories… guaranteed to result in a headache.

Just think of the forthcoming massive debt as our “debt of gratitude” to Wall Street & the neo-cons who shirked all responsibility & worshipped at the altar of greed. They'll do allright… don't worry about them.

We have a decent PM; a man of integrity (unlike the proven Liberal thieves) a man with principles and he is not good enough for the Easteners. Why not? Probably because he comes from the West. This fiasco just proves how far Ontario and Quebec will go in order to have power of Canada. They do not care one whit about Western Canada. I think it is time for Western Canada to threaten to separate. Maybe Ottawa would try to pacify us with tons of money, just like they have done with Quebec.

I live in the USA but vote in the Federal elections in Canada by mail. I can't believe what I read online about this in Canada! Are they trying to destroy the country in the midst of the worse economy I've seen in my 55 years?It's a power grab by greedy Liberal and NDP MPs who have the nerve to side with a party that should have, long ago, been charged with treason!

I suggest that you correct the “CONFEDERATION” mistake on the RallyFor Canada site, Canada is a *Federal* Constitutional Monarchy since the the begenning of the eighties (and even bofore that we were not a real confederation).

Anyways, I will be in Montreal Saturday, taking the bus from Sherbrooke, Estrie.

and the PC Party with ideas….. We can't let this happen to our beloved country. If it does, we will be sold down
the river and the price of homes will not go up for ten years instead of the 3 that everyone is anticipating with the
oilsands booming (and providing too many of our hard earned dollars to the east – but thanks to Mr. Stelmak, he
