The administration at Queen's University , Wilfrid Laurier and York University seem to have all taken these principles to new heights in recent years, however.

In my view this is fine if a privately funded and run organization of like minded, all knowing academic types wishes to make decisions and impose their will on the student population (who obliges).

But, if they do this in a publicly funded school, they should have their funding pulled.

Please do not deprive your son of the best undergraduate experience in Canada. Queen's made the mistake of talking about their thought censorship, but you would have to be naive to believe that it wasn't happening before. Universities have long been a place for the blunt application of ideology by fascism. In the early 90s one could be expelled for making jokes about the outrageous 2nd wave feminism of the Women's Studies department.

If your son is intelligent enough to get into Queen's he will be intelligent enough to see through the PC Stasi.
