I’ve heard of Liberals signing up dead people to round out member numbers for leadership contests. Legend even has it that JFK’s campaign used lists of dead voters to steal thousands of votes in Chicago to beat Nixon.
While the deceased can be used to win elections, you don’t actually have to campaign to them, right?

Seriously, it's close to showing disrespect for the dead to post a tacky election sign right outside a graveyard.

My gut feeling on this is that Dion and the Liberals are about to be broadsided by Harpers ominous, big blue election machine. Dion looks like a deer in the headlights.

There's no doubt Dion will be DOA at the ballot box. But mounting a dead guys old election signs show the actual candidate hasn't got any of his/her own to put up. LOL.
Pretty hard to get signs this late in the game, every campaign that I've ever worked signs were purchased long before the writ was dropped.
If other Liberal candidates are this un-prepared they will be decimated at the ballot box.
