and it’s going to go viral… (listen here)
First, Stephen Harper gets surprised by Geri Hall from 22 minutes as the “single female voter” and now this.
I just received an email from Mashline.com promoting a song they put together called “I’ve got a crush on Harper” by “Mashline Girl”.
It’s in the same vein as Obama Girl’s “I’ve got a crush on Obama“.
Only the audio is available now, but they’ve promised a video.
Click here to listen to “I’ve got a crush on Harper”.
Sorta creepy if you ask me… but some people will enjoy this I’m sure.

For some reason I see the Prime Minister looking very uncomfortable while hearing this.

Nice melody…………lol

Holy Majority Harper!!!
Beautiful voice, excellent song, but I'm biased! I have had a crush on Harper's policies for a long time. Who says us females don't like him. I like his solid family credentials.

Ha!
It's not as bad as I was afraid it would be. Kinda catchy actually

I think Harper just lost the Election!

I love it. Anyone who thinks this is a bad thing has to lighten up. It might have been meant as a joke, but there is nothing nasty or insulting in it and I think you'll find more and more women are seeing Harper as a solid, decent and likeable guy.
In this first few days of the campaign Harper has shown himself to be far more relaxed than he used to be and he isn't afraid to joke around. I don't see him being uncomfortable with this — he should be flattered — after all, you won't find anyone singing a love song to Stephane, Jack or Liz. Ewww.

I would love to hear Casey Kasem do an intro for that one.
“And now, a long distance dedication from a woman who just can't get enough of a certain Canadian leader…”
“Keep your feet on the ground and keep reaching for the stars.”

I think we are looking for subliminal messages here.Or something nasty.I just think its a catchy tune.I think it will catch on and become a talking point of the election.

It's pretty hard to not admire Stephen Harper. Good looking fellow, writing a book on hockey history, nice family, good looking wife and is brilliant…..oh yea, did I mention that he's Prime Minister of Canada and vote one of the most respected leaders on the planet, by all the respected leaders of the planet. Woulnd't have wanted to miss that.
Like I said, hard not to admire him.

I love it!
To Libs, NDP, Greens, and Bloc: so sue me.
I still love it.

Cool tune, I like it. I hope it drives Dion nuts. They should play it as an intro whenever the prime minister walks in the room. It's not really surprising as Harper has gained a lot of support over the last few years among voters who were sitting on the fence. It's a keeper.

When I donate to the Conservative Party, this is what you spend my dollars on? This is outrageous.
September 14th, 2008 at 11:52 am
This song was written and performed by a PR company looking to tap into the attention of the federal election. The Conservative Party, as far as I know, didn't spend a penny on making this song.

I've read that Harper's favorite bands are The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and AC/DC. He's also known to have quite a large vinyl record collection and supposedly has memorized the lyrics to every Beatles song.

HAHAHA, too funny. Sorta creepy is right though…

people were too freaked out by the song.
January 4th, 2009 at 1:15 am
yep he lost. It seems that his song didn't help him much at the end.
And he might even leave this year already:
