Your video, and other copies on YouTube including my own, have been removed due to supposed "Terms of Use Violations". There appears to be no legitimate reason for this, instead it seems to be politically motivated misuse of YouTube's removal policy. This has happened before.

The CPAC video is still available on their site, and the clip in question can be seen here:
http://canuckpolitics.com/2008/09/15/cpac-defen...

As I watched her segment in that shop your referring to, it was fairly obvious to me that she knew or knew of the guy or at least that he was a fellow conservative supporter. I got the impression they knew each other but not that they were trying too hard to hide it. I mean, it would of been awkward to go into a place like that for a coffee only to not be served for political reasons, but how often are people like that outside of Toronto? aheh.

I don't think she was trying to pull a fast one on us or anything, especially not to the same lengths as Garth.

I don't think you can compare the two. I think, I'll reserve the rest of my judgement for when the facts become more apparent. I'm certainly not gonna assume the worst of someone just because she MAY of made a similar mistake but on a much smaller magnitude.

For anyone who had watched the full segment, I would think the Conservative Candidate would still be the most appropriate out of the choices provided. I swear, the green candidate seemed like she wasn't entirely human or stuck in a weird new-agey trance of some sort. Yay for the environment and all but that lady was creepy.

I don't know, I'm just saying ms. Raitt is certainly the least likely to embarrass the population of her constituency, if at all. I also suspect she'll do a great job in the HOC. She just has the right sort of gusto.

Thats my thoughts on your options. I can't say that about all Conservative candidates out there, but I'm more than fairly sure that she is the right choice for that area. idk, you'll come to your own conclusions.

Dear Mr.Taylor,

Before I start right at this moment I do not support any party because i'm still watching this Election unfold.
In regards to CPAC I have reviewed the entire profile for Halton. Here is my Honest imput about the overview.
Perhaps Mr.Turner did something wrong with the interview. But so did Ms Raitt.CPAC filmed Main Street Yarn Shop in Milton that is owned by Mr.Keith Hesse's girlfriend Carolyn.Mr Hesse in on the board of Directors for the Halton P.C.riding Association.I urge you to search Keith Hesse on your Goggle or any other search engine.
Mr Hesse was also present during the CPAC filming in the store looking at a sweater on the rack.
I wanted to express my concerns of being honest and fair about all of the comments that have been posted on your blog. I Thank You for allowing me to expess my comments. Jayson

I love the fact that your next post here points out Turner's usual tactic of attacking those who point out his stretch of the truth. In fact, I'm surprised he didn't delete the comment altogether, which is very common for him to do when he disagrees with one's opinion.

Weaseling out of things is important to learn. It is what separates us from the animals -- except for the weasel. - Homer Simpson.

I don't think Garth's going to weasel out of this one. He's been busted plain and simple. His weaselly, confrontational approach merely confirms that he knew exactly what was going on. There's a Homer Simpson quote for everything. In this case, there are two. Here's the second one:

"Marge, I never would have done it if I thought I would get caught".

Wow - this is pretty low on all their parts. Having worked with their campaign manager on a previous Conservative candidate's bid for election and seeing how she and Garth so quickly jumped ship to the 'RED' side- I have no doubt in my mind that this was a fully-known and sanctioned SET UP.

I believe there is no way on earth that Garth would not ... Read Morehave known who it was who came to the door. I couldn't tell if that was his campaign manager's home or her son's own home but in any case, all parties would have known who it was.

The gall of those people to think that they could put such a travesty over on CPAC and the puiblic (ME) shows their lack of reality and their complete disregard for honest dealings inthis campaign.

I can only say that this sure looks to be the lowest of many low points in Garth's attempt to be "Ruler of Halton".

Hmmm.... For a moment there I thought I may of stumbled upon my "true calling" but as I looked a little further into the Core Strategies site I discovered it may not where I wanna be after all given they claim to find influence in this man.

http://www.corestrategies.ca/Garth%20Turner.htm

Sure, he can come off to some as a talented writer but the man is a total con.
And very lousy and hot tempered in the house of commons.

That being said...

Looks like I'm still stuck a drift with all my genius ideas all to myself on over net.

*siiiiigh*/*yawn*

Off to go crawl into a bottle for some sleep. Give it a good whack when you all feel your ready for me to save the world a little. In the meantime read my poorly typed out comments and ramblings through my profile... I don't know, google me or something. "Taylor Cutforth", yeah you heard me with the quotes..... though that Clever Possums bit, ain't me... and apparently someone else by my name has a face book too? I don't recall signing up.

Bah! I'm off to bed. I'll just have to stop the supposed end of the world at a later date.

SO GOOD RIDDANCE REALITY!... until a little past 1:30 this after noon.

*sigh*yawn*sigh*yawn*sigh* and so forth.

Great blog and post. This is very revealing, clearly exposing Turner's duplicity. I believe Canadians are smart. They get it, thanks to work like yours.
