With a few clicks, an industrious Globe and Mail scribe could find out that the press secretary to a Minister was at a Cinco de Mayo party this month, has interests that include “Ayn Rand, fast boats, ATVing and walks on the beach...”

It's not surprising that Facebook and other social media networks spill the beans on one's privacy. But of course you only get to expose your secrets if you type it there yourself.

With their latest upgrade back a few months, a lot of the glitches and privacy holes have been filled up. I don't say that facebook is perfect, but its a lot better than myspace and hi5 when it comes to protecting your private details from people you do not know.

LW

the time has come for the west to seriously consider separation to finally put an end to the political blackmail that has been prevalent for years...the trudeau years which could have destroyed the west through his nep and even before to the liberal who governed by talking to his dead dog...the right to self government in the separation should be extended to all provinces and if there are some [for example ontario] who do not want to join so be it...all the back door politics and quebec's constant threats to get what they want has to stop...quebec wants separation so let them ...without the rest of canada's handouts they would not make it
